Old school Surrey Hills by way of New York

I learnt something about the hyper-compressed obesity of the interweb today, when Big Apple geeker Kottke (statistically my favourite blogger after Rob and Fitsy*) helpfully pointed me in the direction of Melbourne's Is Not Magazine informational wallpaper, co-edited by a lass with whom I went to primary school.

Looks good too, if pricey.

* Bear in mind that I measure few things by statistics, and certainly not anything as volatile as my own preferences. You should see what musikCube thinks my favourite songs are.

Hi, i just want to say you have beautiful site !! It’s wonderfull :) I love css, but i’m not good enough to do somthing like this..

Robert

And there I was feeling all complimented, until I read the fine print…

PS, the Is Not Magazine link is busted. Found it via Kottke, tho’. Pretty cool

Virginia

The link is http://www.isnotmagazine.org/

And it’s cool.

I have it on my wall.

And who would you rather give a million bucks to - Is Not, or The Monthly?

Robert

Hmm. Unfortunately I haven’t had the pleasure of reading Is Not Magazine, so although I like The Monthly, I’ll reserve my judgment.

Joseph

Yeah, helps if you actually put something in the href attribute, I guess. Thanks guys. And Rob, my far more definitive list of favourites can still be found in the sidebar under the heading “little cosmos”. Good thing that old link still works, eh?

Robert

Aw, he loves me! He really loves me!
